Going down the rabbit hole that is YouTube, I channel hopped my way through some of my favorite creators and the other YouTubers that they collaborated with. Whilst admiring Mykie's work on her channel Glam & Gore, I was lead to the channel of Alexa Poletti, a cosplayer, makeup artist, and overall adorbs person! Her name sounded familiar but I couldn't quite remember why. I don't ever recall seeing her work before so I carried on and watched her collab videos with Mykie and then discovered her Zelda-themed episodes. It was then that I discovered this gem, Link (Legend of Zelda) Makeup Tutorial from 2014 and one of Alexa's older videos on her channel. I enjoyed watching the whole video, as I did with the rest of her work. As the video came to an end, there was something familiar that caught my eye... It was one of my Blue Potion Bottles! Could it be a coincidence, though? I kept watching the end of her video. It was one of my Deluxe Winged, Medium Fairies! Alex Poletti... the name suddenly made sense! She had placed an order for these back in the day and then used them in her video! It was such a fun treat to see them in the video so unexpectedly. It definitely makes me want to get back into crafting some more and getting new series, The Legend of Crafts, up and running soon! ♥

I've been following a lovely makeup artist called Promise Tamang Phan and today on her facebook page she posted this AMAZING DIY CRAYON LIPSTICK tutorial. The notion of it sounds so crazy but the results can be AWESOME for cosplaying those characters in wacky colors. So, if you're interested, hit the link and check it out! http://youtu.be/ZKz0OSF5MNk The things I work on when I can't sleep... This is the first prosthetic piece that I've ever made! Woot for me! It's mostly made of liquid latex, acrylic paint, paper towels / toilet paper, and fake nails!
I need darker/thicker blood, but I'll work on that later! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Little Zombie Girl - The Walking Dead, Season 1, Episode 1 cosplay for Motor City Comic Con 2012! Get the STEP BY STEP details on my facebook page! |

AuthorHello everyone! I'm just a little girl with a little thread, and a LOT of hair! I love making cosplays and going to my local conventions (or any reason to go out in public with a costume!) |
