Going down the rabbit hole that is YouTube, I channel hopped my way through some of my favorite creators and the other YouTubers that they collaborated with. Whilst admiring Mykie's work on her channel Glam & Gore, I was lead to the channel of Alexa Poletti, a cosplayer, makeup artist, and overall adorbs person! Her name sounded familiar but I couldn't quite remember why. I don't ever recall seeing her work before so I carried on and watched her collab videos with Mykie and then discovered her Zelda-themed episodes. It was then that I discovered this gem, Link (Legend of Zelda) Makeup Tutorial from 2014 and one of Alexa's older videos on her channel. I enjoyed watching the whole video, as I did with the rest of her work. As the video came to an end, there was something familiar that caught my eye...
It was one of my Blue Potion Bottles! Could it be a coincidence, though? I kept watching the end of her video.
It was one of my Deluxe Winged, Medium Fairies! Alex Poletti... the name suddenly made sense! She had placed an order for these back in the day and then used them in her video! It was such a fun treat to see them in the video so unexpectedly. It definitely makes me want to get back into crafting some more and getting new series, The Legend of Crafts, up and running soon! ♥
Hey everyone! Time to reawaken The Legend of Cosplay! It's been quite some time since I've really built any plushies or cosplays and that's a super bummer. So I've joined Twitch! I am currently renovating and creating a whole crafting space (as well as a larger space for my Zelda Collection!) Once the space is finished, I figured the best way to get back into the old me is to livestream my builds! ♥
I am planning on starting out my Twitch livestreams with making enemy plushies from the original Legend of Zelda. I’ve already made octorocks in the past. Should my first video be on those or should we start with a different enemy?
Which NES Zelda enemy should I made a plushie of first for my Twitch stream? https://www.twitch.tv/linksliltri4ce

If you subscribe to my Patreon you'll have access to ALL of my new plushie patterns! ;) https://www.patreon.com/linksliltri4ce

I've been following a lovely makeup artist called Promise Tamang Phan and today on her facebook page she posted this AMAZING DIY CRAYON LIPSTICK tutorial. The notion of it sounds so crazy but the results can be AWESOME for cosplaying those characters in wacky colors. So, if you're interested, hit the link and check it out!
Here's an impromptu interview from Almacon 2014!
I have always been partial to Majora's Mask and its intense themes. The theory that Young Link is actually in the grieving process throughout Majora's Mask and becomes the Hero's Shade in Twilight Princess makes total sense to me. Want to know more about the theory? Check out the video: http://youtu.be/7S1SVkysIRw
As a cosplayer, sometimes it is hard to open up to others about your hobby, especially if they are unfamiliar with the cosplaying world.
The documentary, Cosplay! Crafting a Secret Identity, is an amazing film delving into the world of cosplay and cosplayers, including some of the more famous ones like Yaya Han. If you ever wondered what it was like to be a cosplayer or wanted to know how much these amazing people put into this passionate hobby, this film is for you.
So enjoy this film and find out what it's like to live your fantasies as a cosplayer!
Personally, this video actually makes me cry. This is what makes me happy and this is where I want my life to be. If you don't get or like cosplay, that's fine. Office work and professional dress aren't my thing. I'll suck it up and spend this next semester getting my silly degree that won't make me half as happy as cosplaying will. But don't be surprised if I never get a "real job" and you find me doing this full time.
We popped up in at least two videos this year! =D
One video is a walk-through Artist Alley, which we were so fortunate to have the chance to do!!!

Being called the Greatest Zelda Fan Film Ever, "Escape" is a beautiful, sad story of a little girl and her courage. Not your typical fan film, but definitely a must watch.
**Warning - There is some strong language and content.**

Going through my files and found an old tutorial (remember when I announced it?) that I never posted. It's how to create the Hyrulian Soldier/Castle Guard Helmet! So here it is! Enjoy!

Recycled Fairy Costume!
Ever wonder what to do with your old Prom dresses? Why not reuse them as a fairy dress?! ;)
~ A How-To! ~
1. Grab your old prom dress.
2. Make any modifications to the dress itself. (I lifted the front of my skirt up by safty-pinning two pink ribbons as skirt lifts on each hip.) Feel free to add tulle, flowers, glitter, or any other Fairy-esque goodness!
3. Find/buy/make a pair of matching fairy wings. Lots of Dollar Stores have them in the toy selection, or find a nice, inexpensive pair right after the end of the Halloween Season in the clearance section! ;) Or you can follow my favorite crafters, the Threadbangers, in their tutorial to make your own pair! http://youtu.be/5z20jIu7XJk
4. Makeup and Hair! Have fun with it!
Tah-dah! You just made yourself a thrifty, recycled fairy costume!

Hello everyone! I'm just a little girl with a little thread, and a LOT of hair! I love making cosplays and going to my local conventions (or any reason to go out in public with a costume!)
