So here's the video that I followed to make the gemstones for my Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Spiritual Stones. I suggest just skipping ahead to 2:43 since that is the part where she talks about creating your own faceted gems. If you've never made resin gemstones before, I suggest you watch all three of her videos - they really helped me a lot! http://youtu.be/3a7VVHJ6Jhw Here's how mine turned out:

This is a shot of a commission project that I had worked on. It's the Hyrulian Soldier/Castle Guard from the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I was only commissioned to make the helmet, but I couldn't resist using my brother's spear and the chest-plate I made for his Lord Fenrir costume for this shot! The helmet is made of craft foam and resin (for extra durability). The visor is movable and removable. It has two magnetic hinges that allows it to flip up to reveal the face or it can be taken off all together.

This is a great video by ThreadBanger (I ♥ them!) that I used to do my screen printing at home. It's pretty effective, although I do suggest to not screen print an intricate design, or you might have to go back and clean up your image afterwards... http://youtu.be/LkZh6p8OVfI Here are my results from a test run for my Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Princess Zelda cosplay! |

AuthorHello everyone! I'm just a little girl with a little thread, and a LOT of hair! I love making cosplays and going to my local conventions (or any reason to go out in public with a costume!) |
